This website, michellebachtold.com (the “Site”), is operated by Michelle Bachtold, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a Virginia limited liability company located at 4530 Walney Road, Suite 201B, Chantilly, VA 20151. Michelle Bachtold, PA-C, MMS, CHC, provides Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) and related wellness services. Questions about this policy may be sent to mbachtoldnet@gmail.com.
2. Information you provide to us
When you submit the contact form on the Site, you provide your name, your email address, an optional subject line, and the content of your message. If you contact us directly by email or phone, we receive the information you choose to include.
Please do not submit sensitive medical or mental-health information through the contact form. Information submitted through the Site is not a medical record and is not protected health information under HIPAA.
3. Information collected automatically
We use, or may use, Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Analytics tools collect information such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, pages visited, and time spent on the Site, typically through cookies or similar identifiers. This information is aggregated and does not directly identify you to us. Our hosting provider may also keep standard server logs (IP address, request time, pages requested) for security and operations.

We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate the Site. Each acts as a processor on our behalf and handles your information under its own privacy policy:
- Web3Forms (web3forms.com) — delivers contact-form submissions to our email inbox.
- Our email provider — stores and transmits email correspondence.
- Google Analytics — website usage statistics (see Section 3).
- Our website hosting provider — serves the Site and maintains server logs.
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or as necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site may set analytics cookies as described in Section 3, and may use your browser’s localStorage for non-tracking purposes. You can block or delete cookies and site data at any time through your browser settings; the Site will remain usable.
7. Data retention
Contact-form submissions and related email correspondence are retained for up to 24 months after our last communication with you, after which they are deleted. Analytics data is retained according to the provider’s settings, which we configure to the shortest practical period.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the Site, please contact us so we can delete it.

The Site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are transmitted using TLS encryption. While we take reasonable measures to protect the information you submit, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent change, and material changes will carry a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
